Wow – it’s been forever since I updated – and I can’t say I’ve had much of an excuse. Sure, I was busy with school – taking final exams, trying to finish presentations, etc. But I’ve had the last week off of school and I didn’t do much. Actually, I did nothing! But it was nice – after a crazy semester (hello, 21 credits?!) I needed some ‘nothing’ time.
What I did on my Christmas Break:
- Watched Elf (3 times? or more?)
- Watched Home Alone
- Watched White Christmas (3x)
- Watched Christmas Classics: Frosty and Rudolph
- Watched Christmas Vacation (1.5x)
- Watched High School Musical (3+x – I love that movie!)
- Watched Little Women
- Watched Stepmom
- Watched Ratatouille (sp?) with David on date night
- Updated my Etsy store
- Clearanced out many items on my Etsy Store!
- Shopped on Etsy!
- Cooked ONE batch of Christmas cookies (and ate them before delivering them to anyone)
- Hosted a “White” Christmas cook-off party (guests had to bring an item under the theme ‘white as snow’)
- Thrifted (4+x!)
- Wrapped Christmas presents
- Took the lovely Christmas card picture above
- Created a YouTube account and wasted a whole Saturday
- Turned 23!
- Went out to eat with friends (perhaps the best part of my break!)
- Ate cookies for breakfast
- Applied for graduation for August 2008!
- Passed this semester with a 3.05 gpa (geology was killer!)
- Got a haircut (or trim really)
- Went to the dentist (*humf* hate that)
What I need to do (in the next 18 hours of it):
- Pack for IL (leaving tomorrow!)
- Pack for Australia (leaving Jan. 5!)
- Take down Christmas Decor (before Christmas! it’s so sad)
- Shower (no, I haven’t gone a whole week without showering, but I haven’t yet today!)
- Update Etsy (with some more books, I’m trying to simplify the store so David can take over when I’m in Australia)
- Bake some sort of Christmas goodies (I bought the supplies I already, I have to!)
- Buy cheese curds (our contribution to the Christmas meal!)
- Check weather (can we leave on Sunday? or will there be too much snow!)
- Read (I love reading, and I’ve “wasted” all my time on Etsy this week that I haven’t read any of the books I’d like to, such as a New Kind of Christian).
- Buy my ‘text’ book for Australia
- Update this blog more! I had so many *green* Christmas ideas to tell you, but now it’s too late
