I blogged here about finding a placemat craft for our preschool classes as we are learning about The Great Banquet in Luke 14. I thought I would do an update, and let you know what I came up with. Here are downloadable PDFs, one with the verse reference, the other without. It is a great craft even to be used at home. I am going to give the kids food stickers to add to the plate (Hobby Lobby also has a good selection). Ideally, we would laminate them, but that isn’t feasible with over 75 kids. So if the parents want, they can cover them with contact paper at home.

Thanks for the idea Megan. I teach 7-8 year olds and allowed them to cut pics from magazines of food and Sunday newspaper food ads. This was part of the discussion for the last supper. I also used contact paper for their mats. Thanks once again for the idea.
