David and I are considered “low-income” by US Standards (by global standards, we’re rich!), but this Christmas/Birthday Season for us we actually had a hard time coming up with items to add to our lists. And the fact that our families spend so much on us, we have significantly reduced what we spend on each other – and I still find myself buying things that I wonder “Does he really need/want this or am I just trying to meet the $30 limit?”
